Today’s devotion was John 14:6. “Jesus answered, “I am the wayand the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.”
Jesus was telling the disciples that he was going to have to leave them in order to prepare a place for them. And this verse is speaking to Thomas who asked “Lord, we don’t know where you are going, so how can we know the way?”
I created this page using The Perfect Pennants Stamp Set and a Blackberry Bliss Stampin’ Write Marker. I also used the Aqua Painter to highlight the verse. I actually used the Stampin’ Write Marker by squiggling on the clearblock.
I colored in just the ampersand.
Today I spent some time in Ephessians. What a wonderful message that we are given this free gift! I often forget this message and enjoyed today’s creation.
I focused on grace because even our Faith is a gift, it is Gods GRACE that saves us.
I really liked the Will Not Work For Salvation sign.
To create this page I used the letter stencils from the Simply Created Banner kit, Pool Party ink & daubers!
I recently was introduced to the art of bible journaling. I was so excited to get started, it’s the perfect way for me to use my talents for his glory.
I am using the Single Column Journaling Bible that was available at Lifeway Christian Bookstores (in the bargain books section for full disclosure). Since it was a great deal, it was in red which I couldn’t wait to add my own touch.
I used Stampin’ Up! Flashback Designer Series Paper and Stazon ink.
I chose paper that complimented the red spine so that I wouldn’t have to cover the spine. I adhered the paper with spray adhesive.
This card was the featured make and take at last month’s South of Denver Pinterest Party.
I used this as my Mother’s Day card for both my mom and my Mother-in-law.
Here is a blinged up version:
Do you like the card with bling or no bling?
This year Our family is coordinating a special gift for my Mother-in-Law and April’s My Paper Pumpkin was a perfect gift. I love Stampin’ Up!’s My Paper Pumpkin kits and the fact that they are a quick project to be completed in 30 min or less!
Here is my Mother’s Day Gift, notice the packaging was included too?
I used the Mother’s Day stamp inside the card you will see tomorrow.
Here is the Stampin’ Up! Video of the the project.

Did you ever feel you were the last person on to something cool? That's how I feel about MDS (My Digital Studio). I purchased it on the last day of the Online Extravaganza, talk about procrastination, and now I love it!
Here is my first project using an existing template from the MDS2+.
The download seems to take forever as you sit in anticipation. (Not very long considering all the great things I had access to, it just felt that way.) MDS2 automatically pulls photos from your computer so it makes it really easy to get started.
I have disclosed that this was my first project I created and it appears I made an oops, do you see it?
Today's technique is a video from Stampin' Up!
These cookies are super easy perfect for the holidays. The Special Events set is inlcuded in the Online Extravaganza.
I'd like to take a break from my regularly scheduled program to share an alternative to turkey sandwiches. We made steaks and the had leftover mashed potatoes and green bean casserole warmed in the oven and covered with fresh crunchy onions. Add French bread and you have leftovers that do not resemble thanksgiving dinner.
I got this great idea from my mom who has been known to make turkey enchiladas with left over turkey.
What's your favorite leftover dinner? Do you use leftovers to create a new dinner?
On our way to Thanksgiving, we brought the wine!
We bought a two different bottles of wine so I used two ways to decorate.
